Super Bowl rehash

Regardless of who you rooted for, it was a good game.  Especially the last eight minutes.

Thought I didn’t find them as funny as in years past I did enjoy a few:

  • Doritos crystal ball with the free Doritos.
  • Pepsi Max – “I’m good”
  • Pedigree – Pet adoption
  • Budweiser – Clydesdales fetch
  • Budweiser – “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” horse romance with a clydesdale and Daisy.
  • Bug Light – Drinkability with the skiers.
  • Coke Zero – The Mean Joe Green take-off “Here kid” and rips the guys shirt off and tosses it to the kid.
  • Cheetos – Tiger tossing the cheetos so the pigeons would freak out the annoying lady.

Did you have a favorite?

Update:  I missed a few.  I must have been in the bathroom more than I thought.  You can see all the Super Bowl ads here I think my favorite is the one for Monster.com featuring the moose on the wall.

  1. This time the game was better than the commercials.

Some of the commercials did make me laugh. But none were super this year.

A 100 yard interception return! You don’t see that every day. And to end the first half. What timing! What a pooped linebacker!

  2. I was watching the House marathon, but my brother kept switching the channel, so I caught a few minutes of the game, and only one commercial. It really bothered me that a Budweiser Clydesdale had a Scottish accent…

  3. Unfortunately here in middle Europpe – understandably though – they cut out the ads:-p
But the game did make up for it, though I was slightly disappointed by the outcome, I’m not saying they didnt deserve it, I was just rooting the other way:-p

    (yay I’m spoiler-free)

  4. I really enjoyed the Coke commercial with the man sleeping under the tree
and insects come and steal his coke bottle.

That Career Builder ad was totally annoying.

  5. I preferred the one where the woman got berated buy the boxed flowers in front of her co-workers. “No one wants to see you naked!”

  6. Once again, I think Budweiser was the king of commercials… and any time I can use the word defenestration, it’s a good day.

Though, I was a bit bemused by all the office malice: the Bud ad, the Doritos crystal ball, the flowers at the office. I’m used to themes, but that was an odd one.

Oh, and I still hate the creepy financial baby, though I did like the other one singing Mister Mister
