Bella, think about this. The Gemini VII mission was two weeks long. The Gemini capsule had all the room of the front seat of a VW Bug. There was no bathroom or toilet or shower. You couldn’t even really stretch out. All you could do was sit. And there were two people in the capsule! That is togetherness!
Bella, after that the ISS would seem like a huge mansion in space!
Yes, it does take some incredible men and women to operate the ISS. They work some long hours. And when you do get time off, you can’t go home! Kind of imagine not being able to leave your house for 6 months!
