  2. Ok. Truman didn’t really do anything. Well nothing scandalous.
I also find it amusing it that the only one on that chart that finished more popular than he started is the one that scored with a younger women! By those standards Infidel should be the next Pres! Vote 1 Infidel!!

  3. Mike, there were plenty who liked Nixon! He did what a LOT of them have done, but they got away with it. Remember, they’re politicians! Sheesh.

W was definitely not as bad as you think. It’s a job few can handle and he tried–more than people give him credit for! He was and is a class act. Sure he made mistakes, but Obama will make them too! That honeymoon with the press won’t last long!

Did you notice none of them had their approval rating go up as high as it was early on? Also, I wonder really, how many are polled! The press can control so much–which is why we have the president we do!

  5. Dang, Clinton is the only one to leave office with better ratings than when he entered, and he was the one nearly impeached. Maybe USA likes leaders who like blowjobs every now and then from random women.

    Infidel, your true calling awaits.

  6. I think this seems to show how these polls don’t really tell us anything. Some of these presidents are remembered as truly great, when their poll numbers moved up and down based mostly on events.

  8. When President Bush’s popularity reached it’s peak, democrats made it their first priority to destroy it. And will the willing help of the dying media, that sure did a number on President Bush. So be it.

The impeached President Clinton didn’t make any hard decision without a bunch of polling data. The Clintons even polled to figure out where to vacation.

That wasn’t the way President Bush worked.

I will not be polled. I have gotten calls. Before they can even start, I ask for a certified check for $10,000. After I cash the check I would be happy to answer all of their questions. That is my idea of profit sharing. They want to use information I willingly give them for free that they will sell at a profit. You can’t believe how fast they hang up.

If all Americans would do the same, our leaders would be forced to make decisions based on right or wrong. Not on what is the most popular choice.
