Hey look! I didn’t know my taillight was burned out!
Thanks Bella & Jonco!
If you look close enough…you can see me wave
i can see my town on there.i guess thats bad though we put off too much light
You know, I think I’m gonna call Shopped on this picture.
No cloud cover, and the lights seem way too bright along the terminator, like around Denver & Phoenix.
Plus I don’t think the Shuttle gets high enough to see the entire N Am continent from NW Canada to Nicaragua & the Antilles to a snip of Greenland all at once.
Bella would never sumbit a shopped photo.
I stumbled across a web site quite some time ago called code from the 70’s dot org. If you enter that into your browser and then a forward slash and then desk top earth dot asp, you will hit the introduction page. This is what the intro says: “Desktop Earth is a wallpaper generator. It will generate a high-resolution, accurate representation of the Earth. The imagery is based on NASA’s Blue Marble Next and Earth’s City Lights.” There are many variations available, one of which, DJ, is the removal of all cloud cover. I think it’s interesting, if any of you look at it, I’d like your opinions.
Good thing that guy changed the bulb at the top of the Gateway Arch, makes it so much easier to see here.
Does Canada only have about 6 lights in the entire country?
Yup, that’s our bonfires. If yah love the great outdoors like us Canucks, just look up.
DAYUM did everybody in Atlanta turn the lights out
