  1. As a business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is our next President and that my taxes and carbon fees… will go up in a big way.

To compensate for these increases I figure that my customers will have to see an increase in my costs to them of about 20% or I can to lay off roughly 8 of my employees instead. So I will do the layoff or else lose a lot of business.

This really, really bothers me. I believe we are family here and I wasn’t sure how to choose who will get to stay and who will have to go.

So, I strolled through the parking lot this morning and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on my employees’ cars. These folks will be the first to be laid off.

    Fair?

so you willing to laid off good employees over bad ones just because he/she supports Obama? With that strategy, Im sure your business will do very well….not!

  3. jimbo – Being a self-employed contractor, I worry about all the talk that he will abolish the tax breaks for 401K & SEP IRA retirement plans, and replace it with an expanded Social Security tax.

While you are laying off employees to try to stay solvent and in business, he’s announced plans to deliberately bankrupt some of the largest businesses in this region of the country. Of the top 10 coal-producing states, he actually carried 5 of them. Those 5 comprise 1/3 of US coal production. And he came very close to taking the largest coal producing state that mines another 25% of the US total. It just stuns me how people voted to stick a huge knife into big businesses…do they forget who they work for?? Whos logo is up there in the left corner of their paycheck?? I fully support your ‘parking lot’ plan. If you vote to see your employer bleed out, and brag about it with the stickers, then the employer has the responsibility to show you the door.

I guess the Obammunists will figure it out, eh? Yeah-they can look to Bolivia, Argentina Cuba, and of course the libs favorite, Chile, to see how well it’s working for them.
