Obama picture firestorm

I’ve been asked to remove the Obama picture that created such a torrent of hate, by the people who actually created it.  They not so politely accused me of “taking it from their site and removing their logo from the picture”.  I did neither, which they would have noticed had they looked at the post carefully.  I would normally comply with the request of a photos actual owner, and have done so in the past in a few cases.

Had they been a little more polite I would probably have done it immediately.  Maybe they’ll ask again.  So, if it disappears in the near future, it wasn’t because of the firestorm that erupted after I posted it.

    Besides, do they think that you’re the only one that could’ve lifted a photo that was funny? Some of the stuff that you and I both post goes around faster than a case of the clap in an Oklahoma trailer park.

  6. Sorry to say, when I saw the pic yesterday, I rapidly moved on. I was offended on many levels, and I find the first poster’s screen name is amusing offensive as well. Just one person’s opinion. I also chose to move on – away from your post – rather than get angry. Just sad, disappointed and, as I said, offended. Keep it up, and yeah, I will delete the blog from my feed. My choice.

  11. I have seen more disturbing pictures than the one posted…actually, any picture of Sarah Palin where she has a smug look on her face of potentially being Vice President is offensive…ITS THE INTERNET…GO TO ANOTHER WEBPAGE IF YOU DONT LIKE IT!

  14. What a Hoohar!! First you get flack for not having Obama stuff and then you get called racist! It says more about the people reacting than you! Nobody is crying ageist or sexist when you post stuff about the Old guy and token female! But heaven forbids you mention the black guy!!!

  21. Duh, I have been beaten several times by racist people and I still don’t consider the posted pic to be racist…
