This takes me right back to the day when I was six and just wanted to lick the fresh snow off of the iron railing. I was instantly stuck and believe you and me there was lots of breath when I was screaming to get free and it didn’t budge.
My mom thought my foot was stuck between the rails so she grabbed me and pulled me off.
Big owie, lots of blood…gaahhhhhhhh.
If you live in the northern US, anywhere the temp gets to 10F or lower, you don’t need a scientific answer to the question. You already know the answer is hell yes. It can also happen to a moist hand or fingers. Eeeeyyyowch!
Same thing happens to fingers when you pick up an ice cube with wet hands.
