I received this from B&P readed Deborah R from Walnut Creek CA. She was helping her niece with registration for her sophomore year at Northgate High School. While waiting to speak with the registrar, she noticed this sign on the door.
Thanks Deborah
The irony of a misplaced “r” is not lost on your readed.

Eye think that we should awl go to our leaders at our capital when they are back in cession and have a fare discussion about our grate education system.
I had a southern vendor tell me all about their “Winders” program, when I stopped him and asked “Winders?, Where did that extra “r” come from?” Without missing a beat he said: “From Libary”
WooHoo: I work in a college library, and you’d be amazed how many adults (age 50+) come in and can’t pronounce the word properly. I’m about two weeks away from issuing a policy that we will refuse service to any grown-up who doesn’t pronounce both the first and second “r” in the word.
…and also, that’s a great story! 🙂
I’m constantly asking people what a ‘libary is’ Mostly people in their late 40’s on. That’s just one of those words that aggravates me.
