Portable guitar

My young friend Derek should find this interesting.

“Are you and your guitar inseparable? Well even if you are addicted to playing when you’re on the road, there’s no denying it’s a pain in the a$$ to carry a full-size guitar on an airplane or train. Here’s a guitar that breaks down to fit into a compact “gig bag”, so you can take it anywhere.” w/ photos + video.

  1. I’ve seen that! 🙂

They’re actually pretty nice and sound decent (almost SHOCKINGLY so). I haven’t bought one yet, but I’ve thought about it, if nothing else than for the novelty…but I don’t travel that much, unless it’s actually FOR a gig, to which I’d take regular-sized guitars. So I’m not sure if it’s worth $400 to me…maybe if I could get a deal for like $300-ish. It’s pretty cool. I can definitly see having one in the future.

  2. Can they make that for a piano, that’s the only thing i play that doesn’t already break into smaller pieces…

  3. There is an electronic, flat, roll-up-able piano out there. I have no link or official product name…but they do exist. They’re just a keyboard and they roll up like a napsack.
