Well, there are of course times when it is perfectly reasonable to go to your car, get a pistol, and shoot someone. I suppose a sound pistol whipping might be enough, but. . . only from a more forgiving soul than me.
Looks like an opportunity for a promotion, big raise, big bonus and some job security to me.
I wonder how that happened. I also wonder if parents run the other way with their children when they see him…
Oh, Corrina, it goes much deeper than that. The station doubtless ran apologies and such, but there will always be folks that whisper that he was “outed” because there wasn’t quite enough evidence to convict. And some of those folks would go to great lengths to find him when he moves, to “let people know who their new neighbor is.” Few will date/marry him, just in case, and he will never be trusted with nieces and nephews. The guy who made the mistake truly ruined this poor man’s life.
Yeah, this isn’t one you sit around and laugh at over coffee the next day….or the next month…or the next year.
