It is legal to be a prostitute in Italy. It’s not legal to go with prostitutes or exploit them.

These “facts” are mostly false or at the very best half-truths. It kills me that the internet feels that perpetuating these “facts”, while amusing, is a good thing for people. It just fuels urban legends and stupidity.

So many things wrong with that statement, just a few examples, Not all native americans lived in Tepees and the naming is not based on first sight objects but things that have a spiritual or other important meaning to the tribe/family/parents. This is just another example of white-anglo perception that anything not christian or “normal” is clearly silly and the “other” religions and culture lack the sophistication and civility of the white westerners.
