The Kentucky Derby is set for 6:04 pm tonight (Central Time).
I went to the horse races last night at Fairmont Park in Collinsville IL. It’s an annual once-a-year pilgrimage to the track.
On the Derby, I bet on Colonel John (Win, Place and Show) and Z Humor to Show (A long shot)

P.S. I know next to nothing about horse racing… but I enjoy it once or twice a year.
The Derby is actually at 6:04 p.m. EDT.
According to the official countdown clock on the website… the Derby starts in exactly 2 hrs and 30 minutes from now… and that would make it 6:04 Central Time.
Correct me again if I’m wrong.

You were right. It was 6:04 Eastern time… not Central time. Even though the official Derby website STILL has the countdown clock running…saying 20 more minutes till the race… and it’s already over. How stupid is that?
