Ernie Brown, Jr. is from Kentucky and he is known as the Turtle Man because he catches snapping turtles with his bare hands! Snapping turtles can pretty much chomp your fingers off, so I’m quite surprised that this man has been doing what he loves for so long and still maintain 5 digits on each hand.
As weird as this video is, I love seeing that this guy truly loves what he’s doing. Ernie the Turtle Man was picked in 2006 to be a part of Kentucky Afield’s best of 2006 episodes.

If he held the turtle by anything else then the turtle would bite him and really hurt him. That, my friends, would be even worse animal cruelty. So it’s either him or them. He made his choice.

You can still care about animals and not be a vegan or a vegetarian. besides has it ever occured to you that a vegan or vegetarian could hate vegtables and also love animals too.
