Got an old toaster that’s on the blink? Or, do you want to get rid of those old magazines that have ben piling up? What about that brick by your door?
Give your junk to the junk mailers.
Isn’t that what those free postage envelopes are for?

I think that is illegal, and I think it doesn’t work anyway. ( I think rgw originating post office throws it away–in any case the destinaton does not have accept inappropriate mail or pay for it.
So you just drive up the post office’s costs pointlessly.
Assuming that this works, the originator goes on about how this helps the Post Office by providing funds, job, etc, What’s going to happen when the junk mail stops? Less revenue for the USPS, less jobs needed. If it works, it will only hurt the Post Office in the long run.
The postal system cannot even handle the volume it has now. Junk mail is a waste of natural resources. Tell me do you read every piece of junk mail that comes to you? Do you actually open and read it all? There is was way to cut this volume down and if you do it one line its free http://www.dmachoice.org/ you do not need to give your social security number. It works …
I just use those prepaid envelopes for my regular mail. I cover up their address with a blank sticker and write in the one I want to send to. It works great here in Canada.
Every once in awhile when I’m bored, I’ll send back blank credit card offers. Especially the ones with stickers. I’ll stick their stickers all over the envelope to make it all *pretty*. Sometimes I’ll write “No Thanks!” on the form.
my friend just send other junk mail with them… mixes them all up…he says it’s his way of getting back at them for sending it in the first place
