Huh…that’s kind of interesting…and I don’t remember Johnny Cash being on the show. I know I would’ve seen it. I’ve wasted a crapload of time watching that show! 🙂
green day was on the simpsons movie…so are we waiting on a death now?
I didn’t see Dale Earnhardt on there….I think his guest appearance was as a taxi driver. I didn’t see the episode but I believe his taxi even had the number 3 on it’s side.
Considering the Simpsons are about 20 years old, and several of these folks were near the end of their career anyway I’d say it was more to be expected that they would die in a twenty year span.
Thirty-two deaths in two decades? Hell, I’d have to say being on the “Simpsons” increases your odds of survival at that rate.
All of The Ramones are dead?
What about the surviving bandmembers of those guys who died?
Leave it to the Simpsons to have a selective curse!
D’oh!
Anthony Perkins agreed to do a voice, but died before his part was recorded.
Mike:
3/4 of the original line-up of the RAMONES are dead… I think 1/2 of the line-up from when they were on the Simpsons are still alive. Joey, Dee Dee, and Johnny are dead. [/music nerd]
Derek-
Johnny Cash was the voice of the coyote in the episode where Homer trips off the hot pepper.
