Several rounds of severe storms slashed across the state of Missouri dropping tornadoes in Sedalia and hailstones as large as tennis balls in St. Louis.
This is my niece’s car. The back window was knocked out by ping-pong ball sized hail. She and my wife work at a car dealer in St. Louis. My wife’s car has lots of dents and dings in it now but the glass survived.
Funnel clouds were reported 15 minutes away from my house in two different directions, but all we got were short bursts of heavy rain and moderate winds.
A funnel cloud was spotted near the arch in downtown St. Louis this afternoon.
I live about 30 minutes south of the arch. The stormy weather has finally moved north and east out of the area.
