Each year on Thanksgiving I like to take a moment to thank you, the readers, for coming here, day after day, week after week, month after month and in some cases year after year. (B&P has been online going on 17 years, next March.) I’d also like to thank those who send me stuff for consideration for the site. Your contributions are appreciated. And to those who make monetary donations, I’d especially like to thank you. I don’t think the site would still be up without your support.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting quite a few of you in person and I thoroughly enjoyed that. Not many people would jump in their car and drive 1,100 miles to have lunch and dinner with a fine group of folks. I’ve met others in my travels to Florida, Las Vegas, Nashville, and a few other places. I’m also thankful for my family and personal friends who inhabit my daily life here in the St. Louis area.
If you’re traveling, please do it safely. Don’t drink and drive. Wear loose fitting pants. Enjoy the day for the diet starts tomorrow.
My sincerest wishes for a happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
On this 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I…
