  1. We’ve always called them Ice Pops. You probably need be under the age of 12 to enjoy them…The ones with the most flavor are the red ones and the orange ones.

  2. Those were great.
They had no real name though, just water-ice.
I loved the cherry and cola flavors.

  3. In 40 years in the convenience store business we sold thousands, heck, maybe a million Freeze Pops. That might have been the brand name, but that’s what most people in my area called them. And my favorite was grape.

    • Yep – freeze pops..not my favorite treat to be honest. I always chose red or pink – but any flavor always made me cough after the first couple of bites. Then I always got that phlegmy spittle… but the best parts were: first the colored spit, and then showing off the colored tongue.

  4. Freezies… always 🙂 Not a fan of them myself, but there are few, if any, flavors that you couldn’t find a taker for LOL! I think blue is the most popular, followed by orange or pink or red. I doubt if they will ever go out of style!

  5. Freezies. Any color but green. I don’t know when green candy changed from “lime” to “apple” but I want to find whoever decided that apple was a good candy flavor and tell him what’s on my mind

    • I so agree! Someone even thought that was a good idea for Jolly Ranchers! … no longer delicious 🙁

    • Remember when Dairy Queen sold Mr. Misty? The green was lime and it was so good on a really hot day as was the grape. Those were my two favorites.

  6. Otter Pops is a brand name, these are generic, so they are FREEZY POPS. And blue is the best flavor.
