  1. One thing we don’t do in the US is use our turn signals to exit a round about. That is required in Australia. It makes life to much easier for the other drivers.

    I must be the only person in San Diego who signals out. I’ve never seen ANYONE else do it.

    • I agree–although I call it a giant slalom.

      There is one near me in the Chicago suburbs where a busy state route has an interchange with a busy interstate (well, toll way). It took a while to re-configure the interchange and it does look odd, but I think it does work better.

      As long as you remember to stay to the right of the yellow line, you will be fine. Actually, that is a good tip on any road in the US (Canada and Mexico, too) that has the yellow stripes (typically in the middle of the road or on the left edge of an interstate/highway).
