      Wow. You have to read that dog renting story.

      What the heck? How on earth can some one sign a lease on a dog? How can someone pay $2400 for a dog?

      We just paid $700 for a rescue, which shocked the hell out of me. But now I’m glad I didn’t get roped in to some scam like this.

    Interesting breakdown in the click bait story. Even the traditional press is trying to get clicks by appealing to the readers’ emotion. It’s always been “If it bleeds, it leads” even before the internet and the World Wide Web. I think it started a short time after some guy named Gutenberg applied for a patent.
