Christmas Weekend Open Mic

Another Christmas is upon us and they seem to be coming faster and faster as the years go by. It’s hard to believe this site will be 15 years old in a few months.  I’ve met some wonderful people through this site and I’m proud that it has connected many of you together.

Whether we’ve met in person or just gotten to know one another through the website online I want to thank you for coming here and being part of our little worldwide neighborhood.  This site would have been long gone if you all hadn’t stopped in for a chat. We may disagree politically, religiously or on many other topics but I respect you and appreciate your friendship and support.  I want to thank those who send me things to post.  I can’t post them all but I sincerely appreciate you sending them.

The older I get the more I realize Christmas is about spending time with family and friends and less about gifts.  I consider all my B&P neighbors as friends and enjoy spending time here with you.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it and to those who don’t, Happy first week of winter!  Also sending best wishes for a Happy Hannakuh and Happy Kwanza and happy any other holiday you celebrate at this time of year.

  1. Heading to St. Augustine, FL, to spend the next couple of days with Kevin’s mom and grandparents. First time in his 7 years that all of the “family” will be together for Christmas. Merry to those that do, happy ___________________ to those that don’t. Bye for now.

  2. Jonco,
Thank you for this site. Although I seldom post comments, I enjoy your site every day, sometimes twice or three times, just to see “what” is new. I have laughed and at some of the posts said “NO Way”.
PLEASE continue for another 15 years.
Sending warm weather your way from sunny warm Florida.

  3. Well… if you should decide to give gifts Jonco, I’ve been eyeing one of those LG 60″ OLED UHD TVs. Don’t feel pressured though. I’ll be satisfied with you keeping this site up and running cuz, after all, the gift of laughter is the best gift of all. Happy holidays to all, and to all a good new year!

  4. What lovely sentiments, Jonco. And in return. Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and your family! And to all the fellow BP’ers , Happiest of Celebrations for you and your families and friends!

  5. Thanks, everybody. Our Christmas Eve gathering will be rather small and will get started in about a half an hour. We’ll have another round of family getting together tomorrow afternoon. May you enjoy whatever festivities you have planned.

  6. Merry Happy Whatever to all. I’m glad for this site as well. I come here at least once a day, and yeah, sometimes more. Keep up the great work, I love our little neighborhood.

  7. Merry Christmas Jonco & Family and Thank You for all the time you spend to entertain us. I sure appreciate it. AND Merry Whatever to all the B & P followers! You sure have given me lots of belly laughs over the years. 😀

  8. Merry Christmas everybody from Negros Oriental Island in the *hili**ines!… I’m having a keyboard meltdown so some words don’t work. But.. Thanks especially to Jonco for this site! When I told my sister I am a day ahead of America because of the international date line… she said “can you tell me who wins the Su*er Bowl*” No Santa this year…. the reindeer can’t handle the 😯 degree weather and the warm breeze and the *alm trees blocking the landing zone on the beach. Oh well, my bamboo roof couldn’t handle the load anyway! ..Love ya all !!!

  9. Merry Christmas, Jonco and many thanks for all the time and effort you put into this neighborhood you have developed.

  10. Merry Christmas, Jonco, to you and yours, and especially the puppies. And warm wishes to all the B&P family for the holidays.
