I stayed in one and only one Walmart parking lot on a trip last month that took me to Springfield, MO (land of B&P sort-of). Here’s what I learned.
There are a lot of trucks, lots and lots of trucks and they’re left running all night long. Got about 3-hours total sleep. The local RV park was closed for the year.
People are rude and dirty, not sure what the karma thing is though. If you have an actual RV and have a holding tank with water then please take a damn bath you stinky, filthy slob.
Dog shit, dog shit and urine smell everywhere. I certain the grassy area we stayed near was covered in dog shit. I realize that you need to let the dog out, but clean up afterwords or something.
Walmart has no doughnuts at 8:00 am. Seriously. McDonald’s inside did not open until 11:00 am.
Walmart employee’s are the same grouchy, burnt out folks at 3:00 am as they are at 8:00 am. See note about 3-hours sleep.
Overall was not quite and shady as some of those pictures show.
