Jamie Foxx once said Miley Cyrus would wind up on a stripper pole and all hell broke loose. At the time she was still an innocent looking tween who couldn’t sing a lick but was very likeable. Then came that really, really, and truly creepy photo shoot with her father, Billy Ray, who was a one hit wonder back a generation ago. Both claimed that they had no idea how creepy those photos would come out and looking back, I believe them now, but not for the reasons people did back then. Turns out these people don’t know creepy when they see it.
This is how Billy Ray posed with his then fourteen year old daughter.
Maybe it made the cover of “Trailer Park National” but the rest of us were more than just a little disturbed over some of the photos.
So, over the years, okay, in just four years, “Hanna Montana” the Disney Darling grew up and decided that she was never, ever, going to be a little girl again, and eye bleach any scene we might have loved from our memory.
We got this.
About the same time we heard rumors she gave some guy, not her father presumably, a lap dance.
For those about to twerk, I salute you.
Lohanesque behavior began to emerge like meth labs in a trailer bathroom in Arkansas. This all finally exploded when Miley Cyrus went hard and off the deep end at the MTV video music awards.
It’s a sad day when Jamie Foxx is a prophet. It’s sadder still when a young woman has to go so far to get so little from behavior that will likely create a few thousand tweets, a hundred blog write ups, and this.
Now, nothing she does will be enough until she tops this weirdness. She’ll be dead long before she hits twenty-seven. Too far, too young, too bad.
