Weekend Open Mic

Weekend open mic

Best of B&P –  I’ve created a Best of B&P Facebook page that has 2 or 3 or 4 of what I consider the best posts on Facebook that day or the previous day.  I might even reach back for an old but good post every now and then.  So if you’re on Facebook and you don’t have time to come to B&P every day you can like the page and see just a few of my favorite posts each day.

Forecast mar 16Weather:  It was about 70°F on Friday, so I got Charlotte (my motorcycle) out and went for a short ride.  A cool front is coming in on Saturday and the high will be in the low 50s.  There’s a possibility of light snow on Sunday.  Weird weather!

St pats cloverSt. Pat’s Party:  I’m off to a St. Pat’s Party this afternoon and evening.  There’ll be drinking and laughing and plenty of corned beef and cabbage.

The Bits websites seem to be doing ok this week.  A few people have reported having trouble when going to the second page.  Clearing the browser cache and restarting the browser seems to fix the problem.

That’s it from St. Louis.  What’s going in in your neck of the woods?

  1. Liked the B&P facebook page. Good idea Jonco. Off to hunt for treasure soon. Found some last week in the form of some WWII era letters, one was near and dear to my CT soul as it mentions landmarks that are now gone, but another letter you can see here is funny in that it clearly got by the language censors – if there were any.

A gallery is interested in my slate etchings (read: cartoon doodles on rocks) so I am meeting today to see if my doodling obsession can make me some (pardon the pun) scratch.

  2. Did a little editing to your comment=
“So if you’re on the internet and you don’t have time to come to B&P every day you might want to question your life priorities.”

  3. Happy St Patrick’s day everyone from Dublin Ireland(for tomorrow) as I will not be around. I will be out and about enjoying the day. This is the one day of the year everyone is Irish.

    • Happy St Patrick’s Day Janet. We’re sure to be thinking of our pure Irish Lass.

Gawd, now I’m craving corned beef and cabbage and no I’m not pregnant. 😛

I like the new B&P page Jonco. Great idea.

  4. I took my motorcycle out for a ride on Friday when it was 70°F. This morning we woke up to snow and sleet.

We also woke up to 4 college girls, one of which is my granddaughter, who are on their way back to school from a spring break trip to Daytona Beach.
