Weekend Open Mic

Weekend open mic

Forecast mar 23Winter Storm Watch:  We’re in store for some wintry weather on this first weekend of spring.  They’re calling for rain tonight turning to snow early Sunday morning with 3 to 7 inches by the time it winds down Sunday evening.  (click map to enlarge.)

We’ve really lucked out on bad weather this winter.  Our friends on either side of us in Chicago and Kansas City have been dumped on quite a bit where we’ve only gotten a couple of 3 to 5 inch snows so far.

Forecast mar 23b

What’s going on in your world?

Mike Firesmith sent me a message from his phone that he hit a deer last night in Florida. He didn’t give much information but apparently he’s OK. I’m guessing his vehicle nor the deer didn’t fair too well. He said he probably won’t be back online until Sunday evening.

His truck was just totaled about a month ago in another accident (other guy’s fault). Next time he offers you a lift, maybe just wait for the bus.

Hope they’re OK! We have deer that roam our neighborhood every night just after dusk.

A deer the size of a ‘yote’ can really do some damage,
I hope all is good Mike….

  • My condolences to the deer community, but it looks like the better species won. I don’t know Mike, but my best to him.
Jonco please take a broom and change the course of that storm, it’s due to hit CT sometime on Monday-tues. No Mas! No Mas!

I’m ignoring the future this weekend and focusing on the past – 1933- to be exact. Take a look at this sexy appliance from none other than – The Chicago Flexible Shaft Co. – Just what every lady needs. And it won’t interfere with radio reception!

    Have a great weekend all.

Those deer should pay more attention to the ‘Deer Crossing’ signs instead of just crossing anywhere they want…idiots!

I wish I could enclose a bit of our weather for you. Low to mid 70′s all week is the forecast.

  • 8″ of snow here in Kansas City……again.
