Crafting – The Making of a Louisville Slugger

A few years ago I took a tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum and Bat Company in downtown Louisville Kentucky [go figure!]. It was pretty interesting the tour actually takes you through the shop area where the bats are manufactured and made. Everybody who takes the tour receives a miniature bat at the end of the tour. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase a bat and have it monogrammed just like the pro’s bat.

  I’ve been there but didn’t take the tour. Would like to some day.

I take my students to the Bat factory every year, they love it. And the museum is pretty cool too
