Babies born 15 weeks early would be 25 weeks gestationally (40-15). Accoding to preemiehelp.com (http://preemiehelp.com/about-preemies/preemie-facts-a-figures/preemie-outcomes) the survival rate of 25 weekers is 55%-70%. My own son was born at 26 weeks gestationally, and is currently 7 .5 months old. While being that early is not without it’s risks, it is still survivable.
Well, no worries then.. I’m going on coffee break. If anybody needs me, I’ll be down at the Quik Trip Store. They’re having a sale on doughnuts, I hear..
Well, when a mommy and daddy love each other very much and mix up a cocktail of fertility drugs…
It’s actually very simple math. Five babies born 3 months early. 3 x 5 = 15.
Or just look at the beginning of the article and see the headline writer made a mistake and used “months” instead of “weeks.”
Still funny, though.
I believe Jonco is commenting about the typo in the title. 15 MONTHS early would be before the sperm and egg ever met. Otherwise, it’s not too crazy.
15 weeks would be almost 4 months early. I barely survived being born 3 months early. There is not way they could survive being 4 months early.

It doesn’t say they’re human. Could be elephants or sharks or something else with a long gestation period.
