There was a time that I worked as a night shift clerk in a small country store in the Matanuska valley. Believe me, I sold a LOT of ice to a LOT of Eskimos!
I always thought it was kinda funny, but they drink Jack Danials on the rocks too!

  …and yet, here in the Philippines, I can pull into a roadside ‘sari-sari’ store and ask if they have any ice?.. They will say yes, but It’s not frozen yet! …really!
