“The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a lake
effect snow watch… which is in effect from late tonight through
Wednesday morning. Accumulations… 12 to 24 inches… mainly from the east suburbs
of Cleveland to northwest PA. Locally higher accumulations are
possible.”
Posted on the day we had freezing rain covering all streets with approx. 5mm of pure ice (southwestern germany). The salt dispersing trucks came through at noon, driving backwards so they could use the salted part of the street.
