I’ve returned home from my trip to Las Vegas. I was there for the New Media Expo which a conference for bloggers, web developers and designers and social networking wizards and people marketing to them. I took this photo as the plane left Las Vegas (click to enlarge). About 3,000 people attended the conference. Unbeknownst to me the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was also being held there this week. It catered to aqn estimated 165,000 visitors. I would have loved to go to that but the lowest price ticket I could find to CES was about $200. That explains the unusually high cost of hotel rooms during my visit. I could tell you more of my visit except you know what they say about the things that happen in Las Vegas. I will tell you that I did not leave my hotel for four whole days…. and that it’s good to be home with my pups.

CES runs the same week almost each year. Cool stuff. SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade)Show runs next week. Both of these events are huge crowd pullers (over 150,000 a day at CES alone)at the Vegas convention center. Basically a small populated city with the convention center walls.
I am sure the Pups missed you too. Glad you arrived home safe.
Even Gus acted like he missed me a tiny bit. He was extra friendly and when I went to bed he laid his head on my chest. He’s only done that once before. Normally he lies at the foot of the bed.
