  1. Using Gatorade to cure a headache might work if your headache is caused by dehydration (as is often the case) but water will work just as well. If you have a headache caused by constriction of blood vessels in your head, caffeine will usually provide some relief.

  2. All interesting remedies, but what should you use to heal the damage done by your cat when you try to stick Wesson oil in it’s ear?

    • The clear fingernail polish will stop bleeding, and hold your shredded skin back together, while giving a healthy, glistening looking sheen to your damaged areas. Plus, the girls will think you’re really rad!

  3. Some of these are dangerous. Toothpaste for burns, Listerine for blisters. These are going to hurt, especially if they are minty fresh.

  4. I know for a fact Dawn kills wasps. Just use about twice the concentration you would use to wash dishes and toss it on them in a very large plastic cup, about 32 ounces if it’s a big nest. All of them will fall down dead or dying.

A guy came over to work on my roof and there was this monster sized wasp nest up there. I could tell he was nervous as hell about trying it but at the same time didn’t want to come right out and say so. He tossed the cup of stuff on the nest and started to run but the wasps all dropped.

I got ten percent off the bill for that one.

    • I had an ant infestation all over my refrigerator, and even if I’d had bug spray, I’d have been hesitant to spray it inside the door frame, so I used window cleaner. Now my fridge is nice and shiny, and the ants all died.

  5. The vinegar/honey mix tastes nasty, but my throat isn’t as sore as it usually gets. Now if I could just get rid of the… runny nose.
