Tinseltown’s biggest star – The Hollywood Sign – has been restored to its full beauty once again thanks to a historic ‘face-lift’ from Sherwin-Williams and The Hollywood Sign Trust. Over the nine-week refurbishment, the sign’s nine letters had all existing coatings removed before being primed and painted with two fresh coats of Emerald Exterior Paint.




FYI – The sign originally said Hollywood Land.
FYI – It only took 255 gallons of paint to give this sign 2 coats.
Well I can’t imagine ANYthing in the LA area more worthy of spending tens of thousands of dollars on than this.

Why did they paint the frame behind the letters white, too? Stupid.
