Happy Thanksgiving

Thank youI’d just like to wish all the B&Pers in the neighborhood a Happy Thanksgiving.  Well, those of you in the U.S. anyway.   To those everywhere else around the world, Happy Thursday!

I’m thankful for those that I have met in person; people who came to the BABBQs like DJ, Richard,  Gary & Ariane, Danny & Linda, Ken, Anthony, Scott, Danielle and Nick, and Frank.

I’m also thankful for the people I’ve met out on the road.  People like Infidel in Georgia, Mike Firesmith in Georgia, Sonya & Jeff, Jody & Grace, Fungus and Lunchbox (Dave and Mike) all from Florida, Bill the Painter in Kansas City, Revrick in Nashville, and Charlie in Dallas and John Walkenbach.  I’m thankful to have met the Las Vegas crew; Scott & Chris, David G, Lorena & Driana, Sara & Anthony, our Vegas guides Barb & Paul, Deborah & Elliot, Shannon and of course Bella.  My apologies if I left someone out.

People like you are the reason I still love doing Bits & Pieces after almost eleven years.  And the hopes of meeting other regular B&Pers like Maffu in the UK, Miss Silver in New Zealand, Aubrey, Sander, Grumpy in Canada, J-Bird, Carter way over in St. Louis, Lloyd, Dabba, Maoman, p1t0, Woohoo, oldbear, Janet in Ireland, Anne in Michigan, Paul in Boca, A&L, hcmon in California, Qoumidan, Andy from Beaverton, Sandie in Las Vegas, Mathman54, Jarrod, Barbwire, Pastor Fred, Tehobu, Steve, Grog, Buckwheat, Goddess in Chicago, Marni in Florida, Mary,  Grace, Mike from Spain, Ron, Greg, Mark, … the list goes on and on and on.

I’m thankful for the people who send me things for B&P.  The regulars like Mike Firesmith and Mike (from Spain),  M C W, Big Red Kev, DJ, Ron L, Rich, Charlie from SanFran, and this list goes on and on.  Whether you sent me one thing or send me stuff daily, I appreciate it.

I’m appreciative of my fellow bloggers whom I borrow content from and who occasionally actively participate here with comments and suggestions.  Blogs like Miss Cellania, AmyOops, Tastefully Offensive,  MCW’s Crazy Lazy Silly and Strange, Funny 2, just to name a few.  Links to these and more can be found in the sidebar of B&P.

Most importantly I appreciate your financial donations. They help keep me going and are vital in keeping B&P up and productive.

Thank you and I hope you all have a great day!    Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank YOU for all you do here. As you know, B&P got me thru some pretty rough times, and a lot of good times over the past 5 or 6 yrs. I’ve enjoyed two BABBQs, and have been honored to meet several B&Pers, not only in STL but on travels in Georgia and Florida too. What a great bunch. Hope to see you and Pat and fellow B&Pers again.

Thanks Jonco, taking the time to recognize so many of us readers is quite the endeavor.
We are here because you maintain a great blog of varied topics and have built a real community of faithful followers that interact within the comments section. next time I’m in Missouri I’ll reserve some time for a St. Louis visit. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all.

Thanks for Jonco & B&P and all the fellow B&P-ers! On any other site, I’m just an anonymous one-in-millions. Here, I’m part of a community. Thanks to all for sharing & Jonco for conducting this humor orchestra. I’m thankful to being in the pit.
