So you’re relaxing on the couch watching TV and I noticed that you’re wearing shoes. Just out of curiosity, how many people out there wear their shoes while they watch TV? I’m just curious because as soon as I hit the house, the shoes come off. It probably goes back to when my Mom used to holler at us, “Take those shoes off if you’re coming in the house”! I never wear my shoes in the house. Am I not normal?
That was the first thing I notice too. Shoes comes off at the door unless I’m going back soon. I do have house shoes but don’t wear them very often.
Part of being retired is that I don’t have to wear shoes at all. My daily costume is t-shirt, shorts and flip flops…When it gets cold, I swap out the shorts for jeans and the flip flops get replaced by loafers (no socks)…
I wear flip flops 90% of the year
I usually wear shoes or sandals (summer) around the house especially when it gets chillier. My little (actually big) feet get cold.
We got our dog from the pound and I was curious about her story so I called the pound to see if I could get any more information on her. As she lay in my lap like usual the pound told me “says here she likes to sit in laps”.
My pal, Tucker, lays across my legs like that. You’d think it would be uncomfortable.
She sure is a Daddy’s Girl. So sweet.
we just acquired a 10 year old Jack Russel mix from pet rescue center, and he is taking over the house. Forgot how much I missed having a dog, and he is a dandy
