Neil Armstrong will be laid to rest today. Coincidentally today there is a blue moon. There won’t be another blue moon until July 31, 2015.

Looking up blue moon dates, I found this interesting tidbit on wikipedia
“The next time New Year’s Eve falls on a Blue Moon (as occurred on 2009 December 31) is after one Metonic cycle, in 2028. At that time there will be a total lunar eclipse.”
Huh. That made me tear up.
