Just want to put out a message for our friends along the coast of Florida, Fungus, Lunchbox, Sonya & Jeff, Jody & Grace, and others that we’re thinking about you as Hurricane Isaac nears. The same to those along the gulf coast, the final target of the storm.
I remember well the damage done on August 13, 2004 when Hurricane Charlie went through Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. I was there two days later trying to find my aunt. I’ll never forget it.

Jonco, I think you have to worry about Isaac more then we ever did.
We’ve gotten like almost ZERO rain all summer. There were two times when I had something sort of important to me planned and the first one was stormy and now this one weekend looks to be a washout. Other than that we’ve got almost no rain. Oh well, at least I probably won’t lose my house because of it.
