“Oh please, Mr. President, please stomp a mudhole in that Romney guy’s ass. We all know that he is the one that destroyed the Health Care Plan that you took to Congress. People like Romney only care about big business, and rich bastards like himself”.
I did not realize that Romney was powerful enough to destroy a plan that is being implemented by Congress where he is not even a member…Please explain.
Pretty sure his statement was that plan was right for Massachusetts but that did not make it right for all Americans and that it should be a STATE choice and not a Federal one. Smaller Federal Government = Good
Romney’s not against gay marriage, he’s against legalizing same sex marriage. FYI, gays can marry anyone they want right now, as long as the person is of the opposite sex.
If I understand it correctly, a plan that the GOP created is okay, but when a Democratic president utilizes that same plan, it’s…”socialism,” “bad for the country,” “wrong”, “expensive,” “unconstitutional,” etc.
That’s the thing. Mandatory coverage has GOP written all over it. First, it forces people to buy from a company–capitalism– and secondly, it speaks to the personal responsibility they talk about. Because medical costs are affected by the non-insured who don’t pay and those costs are passed down to the consumer.
The thing is, there are those who believe they don’t ever need insurance for a variety of reasons. Homeopathy is one line of thought, but I haven’t heard how homeopathy fixes a collapsed lung or even a broken leg. Or more extreme–a toothbrush impaled into the back of one’s throat (actual story).
Barrack, you know how I am the queen in Hollywood when it comes to helping dog shelters and adoptions don’t you? Well when I heard that you ate dog as a child, I wanted to strangle you. Now’s my chance!
“I’ve slept with black men, and presidents, but do you want to be my first combo plate?”
Hahahaha!!! Too funny.
Oh I know that “most powerful man in the world” thing is just a phrase, but let me find out for myself? Pleeeease?
Ohh, one I haven’t done yet!
Oh, wow. I am actually talking to THE Betty White…
Oh, please Mr. President don’t take away anymore of our Medicare program!!!

It’s nice to know there’s one other B&P’er who recognizes the truth!

Please explain how he can be against a health care plan for America that he implemented in Massachussetts?
Pretty sure his statement was that plan was right for Massachusetts but that did not make it right for all Americans and that it should be a STATE choice and not a Federal one. Smaller Federal Government = Good
And yet he is against abortion and gay marriage at a national level. Hmm… what were you saying about him and smaller government?
Romney’s not against gay marriage, he’s against legalizing same sex marriage. FYI, gays can marry anyone they want right now, as long as the person is of the opposite sex.
What’s really odd is that present Healthcare Act is essentially what the GOP had in mind when Hillary was creating her program.

The mandatory coverage part is a big sticking point for many folks. And I’m still waiting for Paul and J-bird to explain how Romney killed the act…
