      Your bias has blinded you. Republicans and Democrats are both utterly beholden to their special interests. There is nothing intrinsic about their party that stops them. There are SOME particular politicians who have more or less integrity than their cohorts, but whether or not they have an (R) or (D) next to their name means nothing. Heck, the tea party is mostly considered to be made up of republicans, and they’re against the corruption more than anyone.
