In Boston, MA, during the sixties, the Hancock building was nick named the plywood palace because some of the the (approx.) 4’x 8′ insulated glass panel would be periodically sucked out of their frames by the wind and come crashing down on the side walk. Fortunately, no one was injured. They roped off the area and covered the 8 or 10 holes with plywood sheets Seems the architect had had a problem with another building and the air flowing around it.
