I’m 30 years old and recently bought a megaphone for myself. It’s one of those things I wanted as a kid. I have a lot of fun with the megaphone, i totally understand this guy.
how is this funny? it’s pretty mean spirited if you ask me. has this guy never worked a part time job in high school? “it was neither big nor tasty” really? then why the fuck are you coming back? just to tell them at max volume? what a dick. if you want to prank someone, do it to a friend who can laugh at it with you. what the fuck did the guy working the drive-thru ever do to this guy? it’s assholes like this and their ‘art holier than thou’ bullshit that are fucking up this country.
As if working at McDonalds isn’t bad enough they have to deal with this guy.
Christ, what an asshole.
When I had to work jobs like this or in grocery/retail I always enjoyed it when the customers cut up like this. What a welcome break from the usual everyday grind, something to talk about. How was work today?, “sucked as usual”, not today “oh this crazy dude came in with a mega phone”. I’ve had plenty of jobs where you were not meant to enjoy a second of it, but when someone came in and disrupted it for a couple of minutes you could get away with it because you can’t tell off the customer. It was nice before the “ok get back to work, we’re not paying you to have fun”.
I got a theory.
The “level” of humor that someone appreciates is directly proportional to their intelligence. OK, there are some “guilty pleasures”, but, just saying, “in general”.
A fart in a sit-com is soooo lame, but a fart at a dinner party, trying NOT to laugh is funny.
