Tandem lifts are always tricky – the second crane in the background did not have enough of the load from the looks of it. Newer cranes have load moment indicators (LMIs) that keep the crane from lifting more than 80% +/- of it’s capacity to prevent this. OSHA requires them in the states.
Looks like the operator jumped out of the way.
That was one expensive boat launch for someone.
