  2. Not really a fail.
    1. Seems that it was a 3rd Party video, that was integrated by the CBS News blog staff. (Which does work independently from their legal dept.)
    2. All these Media companies have to pursue infringements, because if they don’t follow up, they get in trouble for not being protective of their content. Which would mean they weaken their position in a court procedure. Sloppy by the Blog creator – but most certainly CBS did not file a copyright claim against itself. So this headline sure doesn’t really fly.

    • If what you say is true, then why didn’t the news department have the foresight to recognise this could be an issue as the video is on a third party website not affiliated with CBS? There must be some web content guidelines! 🙂

  3. Not trying to make a joke out of whatever happened to her, but I think I’ve said the exact same thing a few times when trying to get dates.
