I’m Canadian, and I’m glad our only border is with the USA.
Bazza, the only reason you get to be a public asshole, is because of the USA.
Considering alot of the technology used in space exploration is Canadian… The US government hasn’t actually developed all that much, especially recently. Its MNCs who actually deserve the credit.
What happened in WWI & II have really little to no baring on what is occurring today.
And since when is the USA first in on catastrophic events happen? Not saying the US doesn’t send aid or try to help, but please, lets not give them more credit than they are due.

I actually blame the media for the fear mongering and the way they have this “do anything to get ratings” policy. In a way, they are reinforcing all that is negative and even helping to build it.
Fear? I think that’s a misconception. Sure, there are some cowards out there, but by and large, to be a “red blooded American” is to have courage. I don’t fear other religions, but I am concerned about a political system of terror masquerading as a religion. I don’t fear a sexual orientation, or other classes, or speaking out, or a difference of opinion. Just because I don’t agree with something, the media would love to slap the label of “fearful” or “hater” on me, in reality, I just enjoy the freedom to live and let live, and keep my own opinion. That’s liberty.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself…and the IRS.

Afraid? I think that this is a case of someone being ignorant to the inner-workings of another. Just because someone may oppose something, doesn’t mean that they are afraid of that particular thing.
