  1. Obumble is only a puppet controlled by others. He was elected only by the promises he made. Same reason he got the Nobel Prize.

  2. While it is kinda funny, I’d be more interested to see his actual work desk, not his photo-op/TV desk

  3. Funny, but, if you look close you can see this was taken during a televised speech. The lighting and prompters are reflected in the windows.

    • Sure it was during a speech and not his desk in the Oval Office. The whole premise is a joke of which I see the humor. Some do not.

  4. What’s funny to me…My desk closely resembles Albert Einstein’s, but that’s about as far as it goes.

  5. Barack Obama is the most thoughtful, articulate, compassionate, Christian, family-oriented and effective president the country has had in decades, with a growing list of important accomplishments in the face of mindless and blatantly dishonest obstructionism from his political opponents. But some people “believe” him to be dim-witted, socialistic, muslim, and an illegal alien. Hmmmm…couldn’t have anything to do with the color of his skin, could it?

    • Not in the least. Also you forgot inexperienced, self centered, and unprofessional 🙂 Though it’s easy just to chalk it up to the color of his skin, rather than look at the merits of these claims. I guess no black president that we could have could ever do wrong though…or we’d just be racist :X

    • Most of the people throwing around the R word are the very same people who did not vote for Ken Blackwell for Ohio governor. They are the same people who threw Oreo cookies at Michael Steel, laughed at disgustingly racist cartoons about Condoleezza Rice and vilify Justice Clarence Thomas. Read the racial hate mail filled with death threats that Michelle Malkin gets and tell me again how appalled you are at the racist right.

Of course that’s OK because people like you are racist for the cause of the Left.

Interesting too that you make sure to point out that he’s a Christian. Most lefties despise that label. Glad to hear you finally admiring Christianity as an asset.

      • You know what? I wrote up a big rant about why African-Americans are the most racist race ever, about twice as long as DJ’s post there…. but i figured, why bother? The people who understand it will already know of it and will just agree, and the people who don’t understand it will just flame me for no reason without a hint of logic. So you know what? Instead, i’m just going to say this:

Dear Sheeple: Just go and live your life believing you’re not stupid. There are so many morons in this world, I’m not even gonna try.

        • If Acorvid says he doesn’t like Thomas or Blackwell for some reason or other, well, I guess using his own logic, he’s just another damn obstructionist racist.

    • Look, he could be covered in gold and have cherubs flying around him, and yet a Republican would call him all kinds of colorful things and yet think Bush and Cheney did a fairly good job.

Shows you how much they know. Just ignore the sore losers.

  6. Ahh… I remember all those photos of George Dubya when that oval office desk was full of books and documents and information he was sifting through, and he had that whiteboard with formulas and equations that were working to save America from the intellectually elite. Now THAT was a president!

  7. While kinda funny – it’s also extremely manipulative. Quite obviously that shot was made during the recording of an address – hence the “clean slate” there.

  8. In my opinion, anyone who sees this and takes it for more than the visual joke it is, has an agenda and will use anything to stir the pot of hatred.
Some republicans hate all democrats and some democrats hate all republicans regardless of who they are and what they stand for. I wish we didn’t have to label our leaders as a member of a certain party. Can’t they just be people with opposing views? Just because their views are different than yours, doesn’t mean they’re all wrong.

    • Jonco – I’m with you dude. Some folks need to put on their big boy/girl pants and deal with stuff.

      • It’s OK to disagree, but do it diplomatically not filled with hate and rage. When you’re diplomatic you’ll get more people to listen to you.

  9. Don’t worry Jonco, some of us got the joke right away. I think it would have worked with a picture of any president. I bet that Obama himself would chuckle at it. I couldn’t imagine he’d be as outraged as some are on here.

    • Yes, it would work with any president and then the other lunatics would get their feelings hurt because we “picked on” their guy.

  10. It’s unfortunate that in the current political atmosphere that many people who are opposed to Obama will repost this everywhere and many others will not see the obvious satire in it and think it’s accurate. The world is getting to be an ugly place.

      • Unfortunately, you have to just assume that if anything you post has any kind of political look… it will turn into a political hate-fest in the comments.

  11. I blame Bush. Obama inherited that clean desk and has worked tirelessly for the last year and a half to clutter it up without success due to the Congresional Republicans who have opposed his brave and historical cluttering attempts every opportunity.

    Have an Evil day
