Nice of them putting the story out and spoiling it for all the other poor clerks who try to use that line about being responsible.
This woman reveals something about genuine Christian faith that most critics don’t want to explore — that faith in Christ gives a person a sense of calm in the midst of chaos. I have seen it a thousand times. As Martin Luther wrote in 1544, “With the man who belongs to an everlasting kingdom all is well and it is fitting that he should dance through life forevermore.”
