A hungry black bear broke into an unlocked car in Larkspur, Colorado on Friday, where 17-year old Ben Story had left behind a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Story says the bear got trapped inside when the door closed behind it. As the Denver Post reports: “The Storys believe that as the bear shuffled around the car looking for a way out, he bumped into the gear shift and put the automatic transmission into neutral, sending the car rolling 125 feet back down a hill.” The bear trashed the interior of the car before sheriff’s deputies let him out about two hours later.
