Yep…so true. I bought my folks one of those pre-paid $20 cell phones. They never used the minutes that came with it, and to this day, they still don’t grasp the concept of operation, menu, and dialing function. I tell them to just keep it charged and if they get into an accident (god forbid, but at 80+ and still driving, it’a given), to just dial 911 or #77. I’m sure it’s sitting on the charger 24/7.

I have a ring tone on my cell that sounds like an old dial phone ringer. Gets a lot of comments, especially from the over 50s.
