The power of a jet engine

Note to self:  Don’t drive too close to the rear of a jet.

Awesome power, however when the truck was blown over I noticed that the truck’s engine, transmission, and drive shaft had been removed. So, this truck was substantially lighter than a normal vehicle of its size.

What John O. said. Since it’s obviously intended as a training film I guess it’ll get the point across to the mouth-breathing drones who work the ramp, but that “truck” was just a shell that probably didn’t even weigh 1,500 lbs. Airport rescue vehicles typically go more than 10,000 lbs even without the water and foam tanks filled.

I wanted to see that fire truck try it.

Reminds me of the airport at St Maarten. In order to take off the airplanes start near the beach and people get sandblasted by the jet wash. Google St Maarten and airplane for some amazing pictures. There’s a beach bar right near there where you can watch the planes. The 747’s are the best since they need most of the runway.
