Be careful what you wish for

Adopted man in for real shocker
Mansonjr41-year-old DJ Matthew Roberts set out on a quest to find his biological father, only to discover that it was, in fact, 60s darksider Charles Manson. Roberts now struggles with what he has discovered, corresponding with Chuckie via mail and avoiding ever talking to him on the phone.

The Sun reports:
Like many adopted children, Matthew Roberts set about finding his biological parents with a mix of nerves and excitement. In particular, he hoped that discovering his father’s identity would help him to work out what made him the man he had become. But nothing could have prepared him for being told his dad was… serial killer CHARLES MANSON.

Over a five-week period in the summer of 1969, Manson and his Family of commune followers committed a series of nine gruesome murders. Victims included pregnant actress Sharon Tate, wife of film director Roman Polanski. Matthew, 41 – who bears a haunting resemblance to his father – sank into depression after discovering his identity. He has since been in contact with his dad in a series of letters to his California prison and Manson has replied – each time chillingly signing off with a swastika.

It looks like Mr. Roberts needs to be reminded that while his biological father passed on certain physical and non-physical traits, it is up to Mr. Roberts to decide whether to use these traits for good or ill.

He needs to remember that while his father is an evil person, he does not have to be; it is up to Mr. Roberts on what he will do with the rest of his life with this knowledge.

He should also realize that he probably acts more like his adopted father than his biological one.

I pass on this bit of advice from a brother-in-law of mine that is an Army veteran: suck it up and drive on.

    - Matthew, I’m your father.

    - NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo…

  • “Well, your real father was quite a cut up.”
“You mean he was in comedy?”
    “Not exactly.”

That’s ranks up there with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

  • I find the whole thing a little hard to believe, actually.

It doesn’t mention in The Sun article if DNA testing was done. In the drug fueled and orgy world that the parents revolved in, I’d make d@mn sure before I believed anything.

I make damn doubly sure, especially after reading in our illustriuos red top, The Sun.
It’s hard to even believe the date on the front of that particular “newspaper”.
However, having said that, Manson has stated himself that he was responsible for a number of children from Spahn Ranch…

    There’s definitely a resemblance.

Bullsh”t will be on all the morning shows soon

  • Matt, Manson also sated that he was Jesus Christ, Satan, God, and the entity who steals socks from dryers.
