juMbotron.
Thanks Yep. Corrected!
Jumbotron?
I think we call them ’stairs’ in the UK.
You yanks are weird.
LMAO at Maffu!
(Again.)
That was freakin’ sweet! I wonder how that guy made that happen? Do you think he had his routine down and hoped they’d put him on the Jumbotron?
I kept waiting for someone to deck him.
Epic feel good video. This has to make you smile.
Alcohol is a wonderful thing…
Maybe someone can explain to little old me … was that music actually playing or was he just dancing to nothing? Reason I asked is because it matched very well, but stadium music isn’t that clear?
I think it was probably playing at the time but then was re-dubbed to make it clearer before the clip was released into the wild.
Most likely it was a recording of the feed to the scoreboard (Jumbotron) made in the control room. It would be a direct recording of the video with the music being played at the time. The reason I think it’s this feed is you saw the live video and music fade to the “Noise” graphic and back to the camera.
Not that I am confessing to anything, but if you happen to attend a particular sporting event on a regular basis, you start to notice the music is highly repetitious and can’t help but bust a move… and, if you do it often enough, the guys with the camera start to catch on.
dimndgal1 – How do you bust a move to “Charge” played on the stadium organ?
dimndgal – Video or it didn’t happen. :0
Richard – “Cotton Eyed Joe” is usually one that gets people going at sports parks… and they invariably play a current mix of pop. I’m also a big Neil Diamond fan, so Red Sox games are a thrill (Sweeeet Caroline… ba-ba-ba)
DJ – no video, but I make an effort to appear on the Jumbotron at least once a game. So far I’m 8 for 12 at Bowie Baysox stadium, 3 for 7 at Camden Yards. It also got me my MLB game ball a few years back – Mike Stanton of the Yankees started making fun of me for dancing, so I flipped him off. He liked me gall and flipped me the ball.
